This is a story about a girl who has too many interests and not enough time in the day.
Like many, I have rarely (okay, never) been able to keep a New Years resolution. So this year, I have decided to multi-task and overcome my self-diagnosed hobby A.D.D. while tackling twelve lingering interests on my life's to do list. Each month of 2010 will be dedicated to developing one specific creative endeavor. By the end of this year, I should be a knitting, baking, salsa dancing, guitar playing, Spanish speaking, gardening, artist...
While it may seem a bit overly ambitious to take on twelve resolutions (especially since sticking to just one has proven to be so difficult), I look forward to the upcoming challenges and am eternally thankful for all the good vibes that have already surrounded this project. If/when times get tough, I am happy to know that A) I am among good company in this seeking fulfillment business (see: Pursuit of Etcetera and Sweet Tranquility) and B) sometimes metaphysical crises are simply meant to pull kindred spirits together (see: Indie By Design).
With that said, here’s to a year filled with health, happiness, and inspiration.
